Where do you find injustice? What do you feel about it?

Sure, there is injustice in the world.
I’ve been working towards ending those
In my own small ways.
That’s been my life’s service to this
World of my Mother.

Sure, there is injustice in this world.
I see it everywhere:
How the rich and powerful
Make potholes on purpose,
So that poor peoples will fall in,
Get hurt, or even die….

Because the poor are what obstructs them
From a perfect place.

Sure, there is injustice in the world:
Children don’t have voices that are heard
They want to change the ways
We see and do, the performance of actions
Towards a better place,
One that is peaceful and promising,
One that is clean:
Air,
Water,
Sand,
Soil,
And even minds.

Sure, there is injustice in the world:
Women have been curtailed,
Stymied from keeping their names,
Their work in the light,
Kept in the darkness of dingy kitchens
That need a fresh coat of paint,
Perhaps a bright yellow or sublime lime.
They are told to stay at home,
Cut short their education,
And stop from breaking all the glass ceilings
In the corporate, career-driven,
Cancerous chaos we call “normal”.
They are told they can’t have it all,
They should be satisfied to sacrifice
For the greater good.

But what’s that good?
Is it the “classical” or
the WASPiness of people?
Is it production after production,
A never-ending cycle of creation
In the world that is completely created
Completed
By my Divine Mother?
Is this positive peace?

I see injustice everywhere,
Even in what we call good or just.

When all those voices have been suppressed,
And all’s we can hear is our own breath,
Mixed with your heartbeat,
The soul of my Mother will rise again
And uplift all,

For all are hers,
Her children in this world.

I see injustice in this world
That is so cruel to my Mother,

And her mother, and all the millions of mothers
Before her.
